Legendarni nogometaš Manchester Uniteda Paul Scholes preuzeo je klupu engleskog niželigaša Salforda.
Na čelu ovog kluba su brojni članovi Unitedove zlatne generacije, uz Scholesa to su David Beckham, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt i Phil Neville.
Zahvaljujući njihovom financiranju, Salford je došao do Ligue Two i sada je peti na tablici uz mogućnost dodatnog rasta.
Scholes je radio u Salfordu i bio je trener Oldhama jednu sezonu.
